Managed business Wi-Fi, explained
A wireless network.
Planned for your premises.
Managed business Wi-Fi combines wireless access points with an agreed approach to configuration, monitoring and support. The aim is useful coverage and capacity where staff, guests and devices actually connect.
Radian helps review the building, connected devices and wired network before choosing the design. An office, guest venue and warehouse can need different placement, roaming and access arrangements.

The features that matter, with the practical details made clear.
Assess coverage, interference and capacity so access-point locations follow evidence from your environment.
Plan radios and placement around walls, materials, busy spaces and the devices that need to move between them.
Bring supported access points into an agreed management platform for configuration and available health information.
Plan staff, guest and device networks with appropriate authentication, segmentation and access rules.
Define firmware maintenance, authorised configuration changes and how faults are investigated.
Use a clear standard across locations while allowing each building’s coverage and capacity needs to differ.
Service availability, equipment, features, licences and support scope are confirmed in your proposal. Optional services are priced and agreed separately.
The picture, made clearer
A logical Wi-Fi design, not a radio coverage guarantee. Actual coverage, roaming and capacity need site assessment and validation.
Access points connect to suitable wired networking. Placement is confirmed by survey.
Illustrative wireless design. Site coverage and capacity require assessment and validation.
Make an informed choice
Plan for calls, video meetings and busy collaboration spaces. Check client devices and interference as well as signal strength.
Separate visitor access from business systems. Agree guest authentication, access terms and the scope of any filtering.
Review scanners, handhelds, shelving, moving equipment and indoor or outdoor areas. Device roaming and capacity need practical tests.
The practical details
Adding more access points is not always the answer. Surveying and measurement help identify what needs changing.
Plan your setup ↗Understand building materials, layout, device use, power and existing network equipment.
Use suitable RF measurements and a written plan to guide placement, channels and capacity.
Test important areas and device journeys, then agree ongoing monitoring, updates and support.
From enquiry to everyday use
Understand users, devices, space and current issues.
Measure the environment and plan the access points.
Coordinate cabling, installation and configuration.
Test coverage and agree management and support.
A little more clarity
Have a question about your setup?
Tell us what you want to achieve.
Yes. An assessment can look at coverage, interference, capacity, configuration and the wired network before recommending changes.
Not always. Placement, channel use, device behaviour, cabling or internet capacity may be part of the problem.
That is a common design requirement. Authentication, segmentation and access rules must be configured and tested across the wider network.
Not automatically. Internet access and the local wireless network are separate services, even when coordinated in one proposal.
A suitable central platform can support multiple locations. We agree roles, monitoring, change processes and support scope.
It may be worth assessing for some mobile, industrial or wide-area uses. Wi-Fi and private cellular have different device, spectrum and infrastructure requirements.
UK-wide service enquiries
Wi-Fi design depends on the building, devices and applications at each UK location. Share floor plans and user requirements so surveys, cabling, access-point placement, guest access and ongoing management can be scoped.
Based in Charlwood, we welcome enquiries nationwide, with a particular focus on Horley, Crawley, Gatwick, Surrey, Sussex and London. Delivery, availability and any site attendance are confirmed for your chosen service.
