Status and device records
Review online/offline information, SIM identifiers and the records used to connect each service with its equipment.
SIM management
Make a growing SIM deployment easier to understand and administer. Explore a management platform for the status, consumption and lifecycle of supported mobile and IoT services.
Talk through your requirementsSIM Management Platform
The customer-facing SIM Management Platform brings supported mobile and IoT services into a more useful operating view. See the SIMs associated with your deployment and explore the controls available for their selected plans.
Review online/offline information, SIM identifiers and the records used to connect each service with its equipment.
Understand consumption over time and discuss notifications or controls around the way your deployment uses data.
Supported services can provide activation, suspension and reconnection functions, with permissions matched to the role of each user.
Connection history and available network information help give troubleshooting a more useful starting point.
Discuss estate reporting and any supported pooled-data arrangement around the requirements of the selected tariff.
Where supported, API access can connect approved management actions and reports with your own business systems.
Contact Radian to arrange platform access or discuss the functions available for your services. Permissions and features depend on the service and management arrangement.
SIM management, explained
SIM management brings the administration of supported mobile and IoT services into a more coordinated process. A useful platform helps the team see which service belongs to which device, how it is being used and what actions are available. That becomes increasingly important as installations grow beyond a handful of easily recognised devices.
Radian helps review the management requirements alongside the connectivity plan. We establish who needs access, which information is useful, how changes are authorised and how the platform connects with existing support processes. The objective is practical operational visibility, not another dashboard that only one person knows how to interpret.
What it can do for your organisation
Status and consumption information become more useful when paired with device names, locations and responsible teams. A maintained inventory can help people answer which equipment is affected and whether an unusual pattern belongs to one device or a wider group.
Activation, suspension and service changes should follow an agreed process. Clear permissions and records reduce reliance on informal instructions. They also help distinguish a deliberate administrative change from a device or application problem when equipment unexpectedly stops communicating.
Consumption trends can inform allowances, identify unusual behaviour and support a growing deployment. Agree what needs reviewing and who follows up. A report only improves control when the organisation has a practical response to the information it contains.
Make an informed choice
A SIM record may show the ICCID identifying the card or profile, the IMSI identifying the mobile subscription and an IMEI identifying the equipment using it. These are different from your own asset names. Link the relevant records to device, site and owner so a replacement or investigation starts with recognisable information.
Supported platforms may provide status, network-event information, connection resets, messaging and suspension controls. The actual functions and reporting intervals depend on the service. A reset or status change should be used with an understanding of the device and application, rather than as an unexplained first response.
Discuss usage notifications, role-based access and integrations where available. An API can support automation, but it also needs suitable credentials, access boundaries and error handling. Clarify who maintains any integration and how an automated action will be monitored and reversed if necessary.
Put the choices in context
| Operating need | Useful capability | Process to agree |
|---|---|---|
| A small fixed deployment | Clear device/service inventory and basic reporting | Who maintains records and reviews use? |
| A growing mobile estate | Group reporting, alerts and lifecycle controls | Who authorises and follows up changes? |
| Integrated service operations | Supported API and structured data access | Who builds, secures and maintains the integration? |
How this can fit your world
The platform records are linked to site and router names, allowing a support request to start with a recognisable location. Usage review can then identify whether the concern is isolated or shared by other installations. The record stays useful when someone else handles the next request.
Some devices upload more information than others. Group reporting and appropriate alerts can help the organisation understand that pattern, while the tariff discussion establishes whether pooled data or different allowances are suitable. Management and pricing decisions are considered together.
From planning to everyday use
Identify the people who activate services, investigate concerns, review usage and approve changes. Establish which of these tasks need platform access.
Agree device names, locations, ownership and the relevant service identifiers. Review access permissions and how records will be updated when equipment changes.
Set up the supported views, alerts and controls. Walk through representative tasks so the team understands the effect of the actions it can take.
Keep ownership and permissions current. Revisit usage patterns and any integration as the estate grows, with a clear route for platform or connectivity support.
Your proposal confirms the available features, supported platforms and delivery responsibilities. Product availability and individual service commitments depend on the selected agreement.
A little more clarity
Have a question specific to your setup? Tell us about the systems, users and locations involved.
Mobile & IoT overview →No. A connectivity status is one useful signal, but the device may still have a power, configuration or application concern. Investigation should combine platform information with the device and receiving system.
Review the roles people actually need rather than assuming everyone should have full administrative control. Available permission functions are confirmed for the selected platform and service.
Lifecycle controls are available on supported services. Confirm what each action does, when it takes effect and whether it changes the tariff or other service terms before relying on it operationally.
Alerts and controls can improve visibility but may depend on reporting intervals and platform behaviour. They should be configured alongside realistic allowances and an agreed review process, not treated as an unlimited guarantee.
API access can be explored where supported. The project needs defined tasks, permissions and ownership of integration work. We clarify the available functions before committing to a particular automated process.
UK-wide service enquiries
A growing UK deployment needs clear visibility and control over its connectivity. Confirm which SIMs the platform supports, available usage information, permissions, alerts and the process for requesting changes before onboarding.
Based in Charlwood, we welcome enquiries nationwide, with a particular focus on Horley, Crawley, Gatwick, Surrey, Sussex and London. Delivery, availability and any site attendance are confirmed for your chosen service.
