A resilient UK core
Services draw on a delivery partner’s fully meshed MPLS core, using Juniper routing and switching across four key UK data centres. Radian coordinates access to this infrastructure through specialist delivery arrangements.

Illustrative service architecture. The path, resilience and components depend on the services selected.
The underlying platform
Services draw on a delivery partner’s fully meshed MPLS core, using Juniper routing and switching across four key UK data centres. Radian coordinates access to this infrastructure through specialist delivery arrangements.
Partner transit and peering connect the core to major cloud platforms and internet exchanges. The selected access service and application path determine the performance experienced by a customer.
Core-network monitoring and available protection services support the operating platform. Specific security coverage, resilience and response commitments are confirmed for the services in your agreement.
Continuity, considered
A 99.9% core-network uptime commitment sits alongside 24/7 core-network monitoring. Individual access circuits, hosting platforms and applications have their own service levels and dependencies.
Where continuity matters, we can discuss alternative access, diverse routing, local equipment and power alongside the primary service. Testing and a clear escalation route help make the arrangement useful in practice.
Availability for the core platform, with individual circuit and hosting commitments defined in the relevant service agreement.
A defined route to help, with priorities and response arrangements in the relevant agreement.
ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 credentials are held by the delivery partner.
Explore resilience and failover →Hosting where it fits
We can arrange cloud and dedicated hosting in the UK and in many countries. Tell us where your users and customers are based, along with performance, support and data-location requirements.
Suitable countries, hosting specifications and delivery arrangements are confirmed in your proposal. Platform availability, backup and recovery remain separate requirements to review.
Explore dedicated hosting →Understanding the whole path
The access circuit connects the site to a wider network. Its available bandwidth, physical route and fault arrangements affect the experience at that location. A fast core does not remove a local circuit fault or a power problem. The access design should reflect the applications and the business impact of interruption.
Applications may be hosted in different places, so the route traffic takes matters alongside raw capacity. A network review can consider site-to-site access, local internet breakout and the path to hosted systems. Keeping the intended routes understandable helps with performance investigation and planning future changes.
A hosted application also depends on computing resources, storage, configuration and the way users authenticate. Platform availability, recoverable backups and application recovery answer different questions. Reviewing the full chain helps establish which service or team should handle a particular concern.
Network questions
These distinctions help connect a network proposal to the systems you rely on.
Talk to Radian →No. Core uptime relates to the core platform within its defined scope. Access circuits, local equipment, hosting platforms and applications have additional dependencies and their own applicable agreements. We help make those boundaries understandable in the proposed setup.
Start with the interruption the business wants to tolerate and the applications that must remain usable. Review route and equipment dependencies, the capacity of the backup, local power and the way traffic changes over. A representative test helps establish how the arrangement behaves.
Bandwidth describes connection capacity. Resilience concerns how the service responds to failures or disruption. More bandwidth on a single route is different from an appropriately designed alternative route with a tested changeover process.
Yes. It is useful to review users, application locations and the paths between them as one requirement. Connections, routing policies and remote access can then be coordinated with hosting and support ownership.
Tell us the preferred location and workload requirements. We will check suitable options and confirm the proposed location, specifications and service arrangements before ordering. The availability of individual facilities should not be assumed from the wider country coverage.
UK-wide service enquiries
For UK-wide connectivity, distinguish the network access at each site from core-network and support arrangements. Availability, resilience and service commitments are specific to the selected delivery and should be reviewed in the proposal.
Based in Charlwood, we welcome enquiries nationwide, with a particular focus on Horley, Crawley, Gatwick, Surrey, Sussex and London. Delivery, availability and any site attendance are confirmed for your chosen service.
